James brings decades of experience in business development, engineering, and technology commercialization. Additionally, James brings a unique blend of technical insight and strategic vision. Mr. Harber will support Powerhouse’s mission of delivering high-performance combustion and mechanical solutions across critical industries.
James Harber’s background includes extensive work in air pollution control, combustion control systems, and energy-efficient technology development. “James is a rare combination of engineer, strategist, and relationship builder,” said Jay Ollestad, CEO at Powerhouse. “His experience spans everything from licensing power plants to developing next-gen combustion systems. We’re excited to leverage his expertise as we continue to grow and serve some of the most critical facilities in the Western U.S.”
James holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and International Business. His experience is grounded in markets throughout California, Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada. He has played active roles in organizations such as the Los Angeles Power Association, EPA Task Force, and Manufacturers Representative Council.
As Technical Advisor at Powerhouse, James will contribute to project strategy, client consultation, and technical oversight — continuing his legacy of transforming challenges into results through innovation and execution.
